New
Features at a Glance
New Client Type "Expert Reading“
In addition to the client types that already existed
in the last product versions, a new client type called “Expert
Reading” is now available. It offers great
enhancements forprimary interpretation using the
Visage PACS Web-clients and addresses the most important
workflow issues for the radiology department:
Worklist for Radiology
The new worklist window provides one-click study
loading with a pre-defined display protocol. Doctors
can also choose their preferred protocols from a
list.
Multiple Series Viewing
Web-clients can now display more than two series
together on the screen. This improvesthe interpretation
of image sets from modern scanning modalities (e.g.
CT, MR).
In the Viewer, series can be loaded directly via
Drag and Drop into the view ports. View ports can
be linked for synchronized browsing through image
stacks.
Display Protocols in the Web Client
Display protocols can be used to define the way
images are presented on the screen. The number of
viewports and their layout are configurable.
This allows the definition of protocols perfectly
matching the individual workflow of an institution.
Standard preconfigured protocols are available with
each installation.
Visage CS Option
Visage PACS users can order the Visage CS option
and enhance their existing system with Mercury’s
thin client high sophisticated 3D volume rendering
system to an integrated diagnostic workplace.
Thick Slice Generation
Automatic generation of thick slices is now possible
even for systems that do not have a Visage CS 3D
option. This can greatly reduce the image load for
an image distribution system while keeping the original
information available for diagnostic purposes. |
