diagnostic image data (DICOM) & electronic patient records
(EPR) become more widespread the control, maintenance and
growth of data networks will become important factors in
the delivery of efficient health care.
Hicks Associates is maintaining an increasing number of networks
for the NHS, private clinics and companies that supply diagnostic
imaging equipment. We control and maintain
WAN networks for critical neurology centres at Kings College
Hospital, Frenchay Hospital, the Princess Royal Hospital and
the Western General in Edinburgh.
We offer a multi-level speech and data service. This ranges
from taking full responsibility for the day-to-day running
of a complex network, audits to establish
if a network has any critical problems through to consultations
on maintenance and upgrade strategies.
Hicks Associates also has extensive expertise in management
of Firewalls and VPNs for Teleradiology,
and provides a range of additional products
and services to help improve the health and stability
